Lost 40 pounds!

I've been dieting and i lost 40 pounds so far! I am down to 190.

Here are some tips that i can share:

1) Eat whatever you want, just not too much of it. Have an ice cream here and there. I don't drink diet soda.

2) ALternate diets. Do the south beach, then no carb, then low cal, then vegetarian, etc. When one stops working switch to another one. Also, don't diet all the time. One of the big things i noticed is that when you stop eating so much, the amount you can cram into your stomach will shrink considerably.

3) Try making really good meals that take a lot of time. Osso Buco, handmade pasta, steak diane, etc. All good dishes that take a while to make but are worth it.

4) Exercise at least once a day. This doesn't have to be a marathon, although those are good too. walk for 30 minutes, go on a treadmill, whatever.

5) Cut out a lot of meat. Meat makes you feel tired and fat. Save meat for "special occasions".
